A Lamborghini source has apparently revealed that the Italian supercar firm’s replacement for the Gallardo – due next in 2014 – will be called the Huracan. The insider let slip to Auto Express that the new V10-powered supercar will be called Huracan, which is Spanish for hurricane. This is in contrast to earlier reports that suggested the Gallardo replacement would be called the Cabrera.
Infiniti M35h Hybrid (2011) long-term test review
CAR Magazine has set a new Guinness World Record for an acceleration run in a hybrid car. Associate editor Tim Pollard drove an Infiniti M35h hybrid to record a 13.9sec time over the standing quarter mile - as quick as a Lamborghini Countach would've been in the 1980s. Nissan won the fight for an exclusive 10-year contract to design and supply the next generation of taxis for New York City, starting in 2013. "The new taxis will be custom-designed to meet the specific demands of carrying 600,000 passengers a day in New York City traffic," Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Tuesday. "The vehicle meets the top priorities identified by the public in our online survey."
